While the meat, horn, and skin are being used, the bone waste itself used to be thrown away... ‘ m a n a s u m o ’ means ‘it’s already cooked (rice)’. Theanswer for manasu moraka means ‘is the rice cooked yet?’ a daily greeting in Toraja especially when someone visit other’s houses.
